Forget those punctures! Metzeler mousse has been developed to replace the inner tube in off-road competitions together with Metzeler tyres. When fitted, a Metzeler mousse of the corresponding size provides an equivalent inflation pressure of 0.7bar +/-0.1. This means that particular attention has to be given to the tuning of the suspension system. Metzeler mousses are marked NHS meaning they must not be used on public roads. When fitting a mousse, the mounting lubricant gel must be spread on the whole inside of the tyre cover, avoiding the beads.
