In 2012, Michelin will bring to market three new motorcycle tyre ranges for track use: the MICHELIN Power Cup will replace the MICHELIN Power One Competition, and the MICHELIN Power Slick and MICHELIN Power Rain, to replace the current slick and rain tyre line-ups. With this new tyire range, Michelin has leveraged the extensive knowledge gained through its many years of participation in international races to respond to user expectations.
MICHELIN POWER CUP Developed to provide excellent grip when cornering and accelerating, the MICHELIN Power Cup enables faster lap times than its predecessor, the MICHELIN Power One Competition. The front tyre provides maneuverability, stability and progressive responsiveness, especially when braking, while the rear tyre improves grip when cornering without sacrificing longevity. In this way it delivers the performance balance that is characteristic of all MICHELIN tyres, offering a combination of easy handling, safety (thanks to its superior grip) and high total mileage. Approved for road use by both professional and amateur riders, the MICHELIN Power Cup will be available in 2012.
