Ariete Silicone Tape
Rolls of tape formed from self-melting silicone, which has the following characteristics:
- Self-adhesive
- Can be used to tape cables or seal hoses, providing instant adhesion of the different layers
- Has exceptional physical and electrical properties
- Maintains its adhesive characteristics at high and low temperatures, ranging from -60°C to +200°C
- Has a long shelf life, without loss of performance characteristics
Applications:
- It acts as an electrical insulator, locks fasteners in place, repairs air hoses, seals holes, resists high temperature, can be moulded into an infinity of shapes and is useful in endless applications to provide temporary repairs which prove to be permanent.
- Used as an electrical insulator on alternator cables, transformers, batteries, plug caps for internal combustion engines, particularly when these machines are working in a humid environment, or when they are exposed to the weather.
- Can be used to reduce the effects of resonance in springs, to seal carburettor mounting stubs for motorcycles, for 2-stroke silencers etc
