Bridgestone has purpose built a large capacity version of the 401/402 series MX tyres for large 4 strokes. This “A” series tyre is designed specifically to handle the extra weight and extra torque that a modern day big bore bike produces. New sizes give a flatter profile, thus leaving a bigger footprint, and also reducing tyre roll under hard use.

The “A” series of front and rear both feature a different tread and block pattern to the standard 401/402 and are available only in specific sizes to suit a 450cc plus 4 stroke.

The standard 401/402 is a well proven intermediate/soft tyre that has been tested and proven by top riders here and overseas, and remains available in the standard sizes.
